OCTOBER ROAD- James Taylor and The Dixie Chicks

A guod way to kick off the month of October is with the great title song from my favorite James Taylor release, October Road. If you never heard it, the album is a metaphor for change in the latter parts of life. The first song is September Grass, the second October Road and on to the final cut, JT's version of Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas. Good stuff!

And joined on this version are The Dixie Chicks, from an appearance on CMT's Crossroads a few years back- I think it was before Natalie said those "magic words" in London.

James is one of the most talented singer-songwriters of all time. I saw him in concert a few years ago and he was simply amazing!

OCTOBER ROAD is one of my Favorite JT albums.

He's going back on tour (in Japan at first) with some of the guys he started with at The Troubadour back in the Sixties, including Danny Koochmar (sp?). Should be a great show and tour.
