North Korea Sentences Two US Journalists To 12 Years Hard Labor

American journalists Euna Lee and Laura Ling were sentenced to 12 years hard labor in a North Korea work camp. These camps are similar to the brutal Soviet gulags of the Stalin regime. The two were sentenced for allegedly crossing the North Korean border illegally and for unspecified "hostile acts" against the North Korean people.

Below, the story from Brian Williams, Andrea Mitchell, and NBC NIGHTLY NEWS
