President Obama SPEAKS At A Prominent Catholic University

In this midst of the debate of whether President Barack Obama, who is pro-choice, should be speaking at the Roman Catholic University of Notre Dame, and if the protests against his appearance are justified, I'd like to show the readers this clip.

The speech was given on April 14, 2009. It was a call for more engineers and scientists in America. Mr. Obama gave his speech at Georgetown University, a prominent Catholic institution in Washington DC.

My question is this...where were the protests regarding his appearance at Georgetown? Is Notre Dame a little MORE Catholic than Georgetown?

You can't be just a little Catholic- you either are or you aren't. Even those who have left the church (and/or returned) know this- because I've "been there, done that". Being just a little Catholic is like being just a little pregnant. Its one of the few things in life governed by immutable absolutism.

The bottom line as far as I see it- the protests regarding Mr.Obama's appearance are pure grandstanding and more than just a little hypocritical....and where were the protesters at Notre Dame when then President Bush spoke, after Pope Benedict XVI condemned Bush's incursion into Iraq?
